I saw someplace that was selling police trade ins, glocks and M&P's for really good prices but I can't remember who it was.

Blue label dealers. Military/LE pricing that's also available if you join GSSF. Join for two years at $60 and they'll give you a coupon that lets you buy standard model Glocks for $425 at a blue label dealer. Each time you renew after that you'll get another coupon.

You can pick up a lightly used Glock off the secondhand market locally (Armslist) for some excellent prices.  I used to be one of those people who only wanted to buy new but I've gotten some excellent deals off Armslist and buying from folks here on the Hometown forum.  If all goes well, hopefully tomorrow I'll be buying a 5.5" stainless Ruger Bisley .45 Colt/.45acp convertible...been searching for a deal on one for the last 5 years.  Hopefully the guy isn't a flake.  I've had good luck on Armslist so far.
