I have a coworker that has a 20 year old daughter that will be going to TU.

She will also have a part time job downtown.

She will be living alone.

Anyone know any SAFE decent apartments that have good access to downtown and TU?

All I know about Tulsa is stay out of the north side, may not help but it's a great rule of thumb.  There was a time I was apartment shopping in Tulsa and it was crazy.  Also if there are gang tags anywhere near the complex find somewhere else, there are a lot of small pockets of "bad neighborhood" as well as the traditional larger bad areas.  The universities often have resources to steer new students to safer areas of town but, as mentioned, everything depends on budget.
