Hi, guys. I'm trespassing from Texas HTF.
 Wife says there are some cabins or floating houses on Lake Murray. She is wanting to go in next few weeks for a few days. I couldn't find anything on Tripadvisor. Y'all know what she is talking about? Or recommendations. Any help appreciated. |

guy i work with stays at them a couple times a year. Absolutely loves it. Ties a boat up after fishing, throws a floaty in and drinks beer until dinner is ready! I haven't ever stayed, but have thought about it.

I knew a guy who had one of these on Grand Lake. Super neat way to live. He had a cutout in the floor of the living room that he could fish in. One day that 'house' caught on fire and by the time he woke up it was too late to get out. Too late to get out the normal way that is. He jumped into that opening in the floor and swam underneath the house to the shore.
