So soon after the contest ended I got a call saying I was one of the grand prize winners and I am now the proud owner of brand new bouncing baby 10/22 take down. I've had one of these on my wish list for a few years so YAY!!!! I'll post a pic soon. I guess all the Christmas decorations in the stores have got it on your mind ; ) Nice job on the win. They've been on my wish list as well. |

They've been on my wish list as well. You got it  . My sister and I love that movie so as soon as they notified me that I won she started in with the "major award" stuff lol. A couple years ago I bought her one of the limited edition Red Ryder BB guns with the compass in the stock. It's insanely cool if you're a Christmas Story fan. I even bought her a pink bunny suit so it's the total package of hilarious cuteness lol.

Thanks all, now I need to pick a scope. Since I already have a couple Nikon scopes, center fire and rimfire, with BDC reticles and the Nikon ballistic calculator app I will probably go with another Nikon. I like the P-22 2-7X and it's short enough to mount on the reciever and fit in the bag.

My pick for just about ANY 22LR rifle is the Weaver RV-7. It's a little 2.5-7x28 that's perfect for plinking and small game hunting. |

Thanks all. I used to be one of those people who said "I never win anything so why enter?". I met a lady last year who won a really nice Sharps carbine and one of the coolest jeeps I've ever seen who told me "you'll never win if you don't enter". I did what she recommended and started entering everything I came across. Doesn't guarantee you will win but it sure helps.

A friend of mine won an H&K pistol a couple of years ago. I was shocked. A little part of me always wondered if stuff like that was rigged or not. Maybe I'll start entering some things.
