Depends in my opinion.

Wilshire is nice and very modern but geared towards white collar or platinum collar folks. (AKA $$$$)

H&H has a huge selection (probably biggest in the state) and a really good burger however their prices are consistently way above everyone else.  They have an indoor range but it's constantly in a state of disrepair and without A/C it's hotter than the devil's asscrack most of the year (too bad because this place has potential).

Village Tactical started out small but are growing and improving every day.  These guys have always been very helpful.

Sooner State Pawn/Guns and Gold is one of my favorites because they can almost always beat anyone's price and are great to work with.

Mark's Firearms (It's in Moore but that counts) is a small shop but well worth dealing with.  Mark has always gone out of his way to get us things that we were unable to get anywhere else and he's a stand up guy.

Went to Wilshire once and it was a disappointment. H&H is pretty good but their prices are crazy, they do however have a decent reloading selection.  Big Boys is expanding but their retail section sucks.  Nice people working there.

Wilshire offers discounts to first responders to shoot on the range.  I haven't ever really looked at guns in there but I have gone in to buy some parts since cold hand arms moved in there.

The guys at Sooner Guns and Gold in Norman(Sooner Pawn) offer $10 transfers and  are really great to deal with. I have no experience with indoor ranges. H&H do great work supporting the 2A, COPS gun shop are nice to deal with. Mustang Pawn and Gun is a beautiful shop.

COPS gunshoo is my new fave. Friendly and great prices on inventory. HH is good to look but do not buy anything there unless you're willing to pay full price. Sooner state is great for transfers.

Maybe this new management will finally put some of that overpriced gun sales profit into improving their range.  Just installing AC and effective air filtration would be enough at this point.  I hate leaving that range sweatier than a prostitute in hell and more black in my nose and lungs than a Kentucky coal miner.

Agree with all who mentioned the good things about Sooner Guns and Gold.  I dealt with them, used their $10 FFL transfer fee, and was pleasantly surprised by the staff, and the stuff for sale, once I arrived at the store...

Yep, if they could make their range on par with Big Boys or Wilshire, they would be the best gun store/range combo, no contest.

Except their gun prices are routinely 100 to 200 more than I can find them online or around the block. No room for negotiation either.

If you can find a lower price at a brick-and-mortar shop locally, they will get close. I got them to within $1 of Sooner Guns &Gold on a Ruger revolver last year by showing them the SG&G web price.

+1 for Village Tactical. I've known Clay Hoover since he was at Sportsman's Whorehouse. Great guy and outstanding CS.

If you call 30 -40 guns a lot. I guess.   They do have a decent selection of AR parts for a small shop.

I'd rather support C.O.P.S down the road though, instead of asking them to match a price.

Went to use H&H gun range once. Once. Thought I was going to die from lead poisoning as soon as I took a breath inside the range door. Could literally taste the lead in the air.

Yup, that's the place.  It's like instant black lung and lead poisoning all in one.  At least they've updated the rest of the place
