In general, gun shops have been charging quite a bit more for Mosins than online places, I got a round receiver, I can't remember who I got that one from, it it at least NRA Very Good to Excellent, and later got a hex receiver from Classic, its not as good as the round receiver, but it would probably grade to a Very Good. I saw one recently in a video, I don't remember where they got it, it had all matching numbers, but it looked like it had been run over with a tank, and I've never seen so much cosmoline in my life.
I think I paid $99.95 for the round and $129.95 for the hex, you are probably going to have trouble finding one for less than $200 now. |

Big Boys always has them in stock, you can peruse and fondle till one speaks to you.
