I've read it occasionally.

We have a retired professor who moved into this area about a year back, he writes the nuttiest letters to the editor, loves to brag about his degrees, and talks about there's never been a country with "true communism", apparently Lenin and Stalin didn't go far enough to suit him.  That will never exist, somebody has to be in charge, and they need advisers etc.  Well, they aren't going to live like everyone else, they think they deserve more than everyone else, special living conditions, more money, fancy cars, summer houses, so it quickly turns into a dictatorship with an elite class who will protect themselves and their special perks at all cost.





I don't think the moron understands he's his own worst enemy with the ridiculous things he writes.



We have several letter writers who are almost certainly DU members as well, they coordinate their letter writing, and reinforce and talk up their buddies and their letters.  During the last election they would scold letter writers who didn't like Obama and scold them for talking about some of Obama's scandals, telling us that we should research things better before writing about them, at the same time they never hesitated to write in about the most ridiculous false rumors making the rounds of DU about Romney.
