The little pieces inside the charging port on my wifes galaxy are messed up. Anyone know a repair place around Charlottesville?

i doubt you will find someone that can fix that. the micro USB is surface mount and damn near impossible to replace.

Repairs on fine geometry surface mount construction are very hard on long term reliability.

The required heat cycle (you have to heat the whole assembly up) puts a lot of stress on other solder joints and components.

My son had the same issue on his phone.  I went to ebay and purchased a QI wireless phone charger for cheap and it charged his phone great!
