At 915 am , they had 3 or 4 of the American Eagle 120 rd 5.56 NATO boxes on the shelf. Price was 60.97, not a deal but if you feel you need some 855, it's an option. No ZQI 5.56 SS109 on the shelf

CGX, Greenbrier had some Federal XM193 in ammo cans.  Not 855 but pretty good stuff.  This is the 420 round cans with all the on stripper clips in the cardboard sleeves.  $189.  Not too terrible.  The guy at the counter ensured me the "installation device" was also in the can  They had 3 more cans when I got mine about noon.

Saturday recon: Town Center Wal-Mart had no ZQI green tip.  They did have lots of the Perfecta 50 rd. boxes (55 gr.) for 18 or 19 dollars.  A few boxes of Federal AE.  NONE, ZERO, ZILCH rimfire.  LGS (Superior) had 5 or 6 cases of PMC green tip for $599.99.  Lots of half-case IMI ($199.99!) and rimfire (50) for $6.99.

So, is Federal dumping their M855 inventory ahead of March 16 too?

Eh... Aren't those 120 rd boxes?  I'm no Einstein, but my math works out to 60cpr.

Well the McLean/Tysons Walmart got neck-bearded sometime before Sunday's trip to buy the kids new toys.

In other Walmart news:  Lego is over-priced everywhere, but Barbie is comparatively a bargain.  Also,  the knock-off American girl doll is a downright steal.

EDIT:  they did seam to have a lot of 7.62x39mm Russian, but it seems like it's from Turkey?

The ones I have seen were 150 round light green cardboard boxes, not the 120 round plastic ammo cans, although they had those too in M193 for $60. I didn't buy any when I saw them, because it was Dick's... I'll probably regret it one day. Let's hope not.
