I noticed the only limit the Walmarts have around here now is on 22. Everything else has no limit now.

I picked up 2 spam cans of Tula in Warrenton Saturday for $119 each. I didn't want to be a neckbeard and buy it all. They also had Blazer .22 in 50 round boxes for $2.47.

Yeah, the 610 Walmart has been pretty well stocked with 45, 40, and 223 for awhile now.
Talked with them a bit...if you want .22 the truck comes in at 10pm, I THINK on Thursdays but it might be more often than that, and you have to get in the neckbeard line. (Okay, not sure that there's actually a line, but they said it goes quick). I'm pretty good on all my ammo except .22 ( I have almost none), so I asked about it a couple of days ago, and the goth girl went from interested and attentive to surly almost instantly...I guess she's tired of the neckbeards. Might be a good match for one of you if she's available. |

Went to the 610 Walmart last night to pick up heavy-duty staples. Walking out, I realized it was the mystical 10pm on Wednesday...should have realized it in the store since the stockers were all over the place. Decided to go back in and see if the .22 stocking thing was a myth. It is not, they had about 20 550-round value packs of Federal .22lr for $23 and change. I bought 3, and honestly that should be all I'll need to buy for a long, long time.
Myth: CONFIRMED. |
