There were some shots fired last night, police and ambulance arrived around 10:30pm in Charlottesville off Rio road. I tried looking online to find out what went down, but I came up with nothing.  It occurred very close to my place and from what I could gather, three shots were fired and someone was injured. Police were there first then an ambulance came and took someone out. Thanks in advance for any help!

I haven't heard anything about it. What neighborhood are you in ? I live out in Lake Monticello but work over in Belmont.

Right off Rio Road East. I couldn't find anything online about it. Something definitely went down though, I heard three distinct gunshots and the police showed up soon after. I couldn't hear everything they were saying but sounds like one guy was injured but alive.
