No Tula .308, but the RT 610 Wal-Mart did restock last night. They got some CCI 22WMR too. Oh, and they sold 4 boxes of the 50BMG yesterday to Quantico Shooting Club guys - you're welcome. View Quote Anyone have experience with that ZQI stuff? Never heard of it before. The new walmart in Fairfax had ammo cans of it, I think it was 1200 rounds of 9mm in an ammo can for ~500. Not a bad price but I never heard of it so I passed. They also had ammo cans of 223. This was last Wednesday the 18th. |

The ammunition is manufactured by MKEK the military ammo supplier in Turkey and I believe it may be all NATO stuff. UNK how it shoots, however ATI did import some MKEK ammo a few years ago under their brand name (I forgot) so look for ATI ammo reviews for an idea about ZQI. |

If you get the Winchester 100 round white box, it should be somewhere around $320 for 1200 rounds at current prices. |

My last time at the Leesburg Walmart there were a bunch of cans of Federal and ZQ1 5.56. Of course the price wasn't anything special. They've got a bunch other small boxes of various .223 and 5.56. .308 of some kind. 7.62x39 and x 51. One box of Brassmax 9mm. No 22 as usual. They had everything else as usual.
|
|
Leesburg Walmart now has the American Eagle 50BMG, $38 per box. About a dozen boxes.
The .308 is Remington Core Lokt at $20.67, Fusion $22.97 and Federal $17.97. |
|
This past Sunday, stop at the Walmart in Harrisonburg 2160 John Wayland Hwy and found few XM193 federal, 223 64 gr Winchester Power Point. I grab some of those after coming from camping there.
Back in my area, the Walmart in Hybla Valley off R1 plenty of Winchester .223 55 gr varmint and .223 Tula |
|
Walmart sterling had lots of 9 mm (federal 25$/100) and other calibers. Also had two 6920s do $1097.
|
|
Walmart in Zion crossroads is well stocked.
No .22 Only 9mm is $497/1200 ZQ1? .40 is $90.87/250 umc, also brass max at 19.97, Winchester at 20.27/50 and 37.57/100 .45,44mag,33auto Some Tula 7.62x39 and .223 100 round value packs of fed .223 $457/740 .223 ZQ lol And other assorted hunting calibers. |

Managed to help a guy avoid a big mistake today in Suffolk Main St Walmart. He was gonna buy a couple boxes of the ZQI 7.62x51mm and I pointed out to him that there was Federal XM80C on the other side if the case for almost 2 dollars a box cheaper. He goes
Guy "oh thanks man, that's a good bit better, just hope it doesn't throw my sights off being different" Me "well it shouldn't too much if you're shooting a similar grain weight" Guy "all mine said 174 on them" Me "... Did your ammo happen to be 7.62x54R or 7.62x51mm?" Guy "yeah! It did have an R, I figured that was the brand or something" Me "no.. That's a caliber" So I straightened him out, and he left happy with no ammo since they were out of 7.62 RUSSIAN but he didn't try to force the wrong ammo into his mosin. |

All I can say is don't ever shop at Trader Jerry's in Salem ever again. They have a shit ton of ammo at height of the panic pricing still. 5.45x39 cans for $299.99 each and Wolf 7.62x39 for $439 per 1k. 55 cents a round for no name .223. $17.99 for 20rnds of no name 7.62x39. It blows my mind because they have good/decent prices on guns but are still trying to rape people on ammo. I also saw a guy pull a brick of .22lr out from under the counter for his buddy. Maybe they'll figure out why they have thousands of rounds sitting on the floor. Fuck them.

Weird but hey, it's not like its hard to look up in a book and I wasn't having any luck moving it personal sale. |

Christiansburg walmart has a decent amount of federal 45 auto, 9mm brass max, and a couple winchester white boxes of 45 auto. Don't think there was any 223.
|
|
Seems like Gander Mountain is getting more ammo than they can sell (at their CRAZY prices). Dick's is close behind (pricing too). Wal-Mart seems to be both catching up and willing to expand their supplier options. That said - it looks like the best pricing for 9mm right now is through the CMP.

Carl D Silver Pkwy Walmart in fburg has about 1400rnds 9mm tulamaxx and several varieties of 40, 45, and .223/5.56.
A few boxes of CCI Stingers. No .22 bulk packs. |

Dulles Walmart had 50 round boxes of American Eagle (Federal) 22LR a few hours ago. 3 box limit with maybe 20 on the shelf. Colt 6920 for $1097, DPMS flat top for $617, and what I believe to have been an M&P15-22 for a bit less than $500.
|

Rt 610 Wal-Mart has about 50 boxes of Remington Sub-Sonic 22LR.

There is a ton of 45acp @ the old forest road store in lynchburg. Wwb and 50rd boxes of federal. Overpriced 5.56 is there as well as 6-7 boxes of tula brass maxx 40.
Glad to see the shelves filling up but at $.50 per round after tax on the 45 they can keep it. |

This past weekend in VA Arms they had 100rd packs of 22LR for $5.50...cheapest I've seen in a while.
I'm guessing they're breaking down bulk packs so more people have a chance to go plinking. |

Every Walmart in NOVA I have been to in the past two weeks is stocked with WWB of 40 and 45, and the 100rnd packs, but the prices have gone up. They were selling the 100 WWB of 45 for $38 a couple weeks ago, now about $45+
Even the Blazer is over priced. Odd that they change the pricing as demand drops |

Very sparse stock on the far western front. Bristol, Big Stone Gap, Norton and Lebanon rarely have any pistol calibers. 223 plentiful. Have seen three boxes of 40 and one box of 45 over the last week.
Gun show in Bristol this weekend didn't have a lot of ammo available. K&R Pawn probably had the best deals. Got 250 rounds of Blazer brass 45 for $100. Trader Jerry's had Aguila 22LR for $9/50. |
