I've been thinking about a 1911. Does anyone have one I could try out?
In addition the obligatory AR, I'll bring a SAA clone, target steels, a dueling tree with a couple of .22 lever guns. So if there are any "Unarmed" Tech students interested in shooting, you're welcome to come also. |

So my FFL "forgot" to order my Galil..but it won't make it here in time for the 5th.

that sucks!
are you still planning to attend? i may have found a friend who can let us use land in floyd county. but for now, i suppose we will have to use BB range. who is planning to attend, a time pref?

ooo, where is Izaak Walton located? is it a membership only range? Ive thought about the Shawnee gun club, i think its here in montgomery county...

It's down the Christiansburg wayside. I enjoy it and I think a lot of guys here would like it because you rarely have to wait to shoot and there aren't any yahoos. |

well, maybe we meet up at BBurg, shoot, and you can fill me in on this more. i would like a closer drive even, i live inbetween christiansburg and pilot.

I fix things then I fuck em up... oops. However, the guy i met a few years ago was shooting HIS full auto 9mm AR. i feel he was used to full auto firing. plus they were shooting OUR targets. :-P
not that i care. except that punk ass 15 yr old.

ETA: oh yeah I forgot about that twerp that shot up your target stand. Some of my coworkers and I showed up at the range today at 10am, but they were closed for cleaning. We walked up the road and helped the guy for about 45 minutes and to thank us he didn't open the gate for another 2 hours while we shot and he sat around and smoked cigs and picked up brass. |

Saturday probably won't work for me now. Wife has special plans and I have to take care of our six year old who has never been shooting. I'm afraid it will be too busy there for her first time at a range and with the temps predicted it may be too much. If there is a group of AFRCOM'ers there. I want to stop in but I may not be able to shoot much if at all. Daughter is very strong willed and enthusiastic, I need to be able to maintain positive control of her.
