Federal court says our ARs are not  protected under the second amendment.

How vulnerable are we to this states legislature passing a ban of MSAs?

IMHO

A) Not our district court

B) That ruling completely flies in the face of multiple SCOTUS rulings with respect to the ownership of firearms and being in common use.

C) It may actually be a  good thing in the long run because it is such an inane ruling that the supreme court almost has to overturn it if it gets appealed and establish precedence for future judicial retaking of our second amendment rights This is especially true if it hits after a Trump nominee or 3.

So based solely on A) above I am going to say it doesn't change our chances here that much, if it is going to happen it is going to happen regardless. Worst case if we get a ban because it emboldens the anti gunners to act then it is going to the 7th circuit court and they have a significantly higher chance of overturning an AWB than the 4th ever did.

Then neither does your email, internet traffic, cell phone conversations, etc. since none of that existed when the Constitution was created.

This would apply to LEO, .gov, judges, prosecutors, etc.
