What happens if a customer orders a firearm, and when he comes into pick it up, ISP issues something other than an approval on the FTIP? The actual transfer of the firearm cannot take place until there is an approval from the FTIP system, regardless of when the agreement was reached. If the FFL receives a transaction number, they cannot complete the transfer until they receive an approval. |

What protects gun owners from unreasonable delays and infringements on the right to purchase a firearm? |

What has happened to the system. Just bought a bullpup and was told to callback in 4-5 days. Has It slowed down or are there exponentially more transfers going through. Never had to wait past the legal time in 44 years. I have a FOID, 3 ccw lic. and a C+R license. You would hope at some point you have proved you're not an undesirable when it comes to gun ownership.
