Hey guys/gals I have been looking for some 50cal FAT PA-108 ammo cans, Any ideas on where to get some?
I did find a few sites with them some where $29.99 plus shipping, and used. Another site was $20 new but made in Taiwan.
I dont mind if they are used but good condition, anyone know if gun shows have them? What is the going price now days?
Thanks

Last time I was at Big R they had them for $9.99.  If you don't mind plastic boxes, you can usually use the $4.99 coupon and get these from harbor freight.  I bought 9 of them on my last trip there and they are pretty decent. http://www.harborfreight.com/ammo-box-61451.html

They just opened a Big R near me.  I'll have to look for those!

OP's looking for fat 50s, though, not the regular 50s.

Thanks for the replys....Ya I was looking for the Fat 50 Cans...But I always can use some more of the 50s. The ones a Rual King are made overseas, does that mean the quality is bad?
The last time I bought the Fat 50s was at the Kane show about 5 years ago, I haven't been to a show since then.

Taiwan??    Any ammo can used by the U.S. military are made in the U.S.    http://www.govliquidation.com/    always have a crap load of ammo cans for sale, but it`s usually too much for one person.

Do they ship or is it buyer pickup only?  I went there and saw more cans than any one person could ever need.

Buyer pick up, or freight company pick up of your choice.

I've purchased from ammocanman.com for fat 50 cans.

At the Indy1500 show, there were many vendors that had them.  I think that they were around $15

I was at the show yesterday (Friday Jan 15).  It was nice to see powders, primers and .22LR on the tables.

you need a semi for the gov liquidations auctions. I met a guy in 2012 that had bought a load and sold them at gun shows and craigslist around the Naperville area he was like 10$ a can, I bought over 50 and filled my truck up. I doubt he is still around.

Sportsman guide
aimsurplus.com $20 for a fat 50

I have bought from both before.

I don't care if they are made in the USA if they get the job done so be it.

For real military surplus they have to be American made that is what I meant.  And your statement about caring about American made is why this country is going to hell, I for one  prefer keeping my fellow Americans working.

I paid $15 for 50's at Farm and home in Jacksonville, il.  These are painted with styrofoam lining.  I saw some lower quailty ones for less.  The gun shows in Springfield , New Berlin have them top shape
