Anyone around here do nice clean pin/weld work at a reasonable turnaround with appointment?

I'd love to keep sending stuff out, but it gets to be a bit of a pain.  Ideas?

Thanks!

Define "around here" since it's a 5+ hour drive from North to South or South to North across this state.  Don't ass-u-me that we know where you live.

My apologies

I assumed because most people here have met me, been to home of mine, or have had me build something for them at my place or close by....

Figured it was safe enough that I'd get something other than sarcastic responses.

I'm in the NW burbs.

13er going to 13.  It's all good.

To answer your question I have but it's not the prettiest. I'm up in 60069 if you want to risk it.  Doesn't Union arms do it and don't they have a good rep around the Chicagoland?

I have the equipment to solder, pin or weld.
     - Disclaimer:  I have held welding certifications, but the majority of my work has been food grade.

I have a 01 FFL and my licensed premise is located in the 61109 area code,
though I spend a fair amount of time in the 60033 area.

If you think the logistics would work on your end, IM me.

ETA: Clarification

Timely response. I just had a customer ask about this today. I'll shoot you an IM.

They can but I wouldn't. I would just pin and weld. I would just buy a good drill bit, do it myself, then just about any muffler shop can weld it.

They certainly could but I'm not sure it's legal for a non-ffl to work on another's firearm.

To cure your doubt, I'll just say that it's not illegal.
