Whats wrong with people in the Reno area? Me and friends have been shooting in the desert out here in Fernley for 20 years and have never been able to start a fire.
Please people don't stand in dry grass and no steel core or jacket when it's dry. And keep steel targets in a clear area. There have been at least 4 fires since June directly tied to target shooters in the Reno, Sparks area.
Don't ruin it for us all PLEASE.

I don't believe the bullshit that these fires were started by shooters.
Some, maybe, but not all.

The one's that were can be blamed on anti-gun amodei for giving away our public lands with designated shooting areas forcing the uninformed to venture out for less than desirable makeshift ranges.

Been doing this chit for 30 years and have never started a fire, either.

Brush is kind of spars in Fernley unless you go shoot by the race track. Makes it a bit tough to start a fire.

But it can be done.
