Hey, ...it's Vegas! So, none of the big-name strip hotels would be regarded as 'death-traps' or 'flea-bag joints'... Although IMO, Circus-Circus has become a run-down shell of its former rich history.

Research the websites for location (Fremont st, north, mid, or south strip) and the 'theme' and 'classiness' ($$$) you're looking for.

If you're looking for a more 'locals oriented' off-strip hotel experience, I might have some recommendations but will need to know more about what you're interested in finding.
