SB-115 may be voted on in the full Senate as early as tomorrow.
NOW is the time to contact your Senator and tell them to vote NO!
Even if you think it's a wast of time please call them anyway.
You would be surprised how often the excuse for voting wrong is that "No one contacted me about it!"

Ahh, anything is better than nothing but original text tends to carry a little more weight.
Basically the more effort a constituent makes to contact the legislator the more impressed they are, if they care at all.
So handwritten letters or personal visits tend to be best, calls and typed/WP letters are good, email is OK, but mass "Click the link for pre-written message" is probably bottom tier.
But still better than nothing at all.

What the pre-written letters ARE very good at is demonstrating the strength or weakness of the organization that posted links for them.
If there is a huge response it shows the organization has a strong and committed base, if the response is weak so is the organization.
So please beware of unintended consequences!

I agree.

However, I'm very confident in our ability to send a lot of pre-written letters. Not so confident about our ability to write many unique and personal letters.

And, obviously there is no time for us to pen a letter and have it mailed.

However, if you know who your senator is, here is their emails and you can send them a personal message about SB115 and your strong opposition to it!

So now we have to try to kill it in the Assembly.
Assemblymen have to run for office more often so are more likely to pay attention to their constituents.
On this the Lib. constituents are mostly unaware and do not care either way, so the Lib Pols are pushing their own feculent anti-RKBA agenda.
They hope to use this session to roll-back gains we have made over the last decade.

I think we are going to have to pick a couple of bills and show up in very large numbers to send a message.
