They are already here. A few weeks ago the local news (LV) showed a group of them who just got here. Get ready for honor killings and gang rapes to go up....

In order to for someone visiting from another country to legally buy a firearm, they have to be here legally on a non-immigrant visa.
Based on a quick search, refugee status falls in the immigrant visa category and as such, these people would not be able to legally buy guns. Foreigners here in the US on student, tourist, work visas, etc. can legally buy guns as long as they get a hunting license (or other approved "exception" document).
