Never been there, but my wife really wants to come. Why not? She wants to go do some gal stuff, so I'm interested in some guy stuff, preferably involving shooting. Any recomendations for fun stuff to do? I'm sure we'll get to the normal stuff on the strip.
Maybe we'll even move out ther someday (if my wife gets her way  ).

You are coming during a perfect month weather wise....should be beautiful. Check out Valley of Fire or some of the towns away from Vegas is my recommendation. Pioche is a great day trip and along the way there or back Cathedral Gorge is something to definitely must do.

How good are the views of Fire Valley from a car? If they're decent, I might be able to get my wife there for a look. She's got a dead bone in her ankle and can't do the fun hikes as easy (which usually costs me in shopping trips  ). From Google, it looks like there is a fair amount that can be seen and roads that go through a good amount of the park.

Yep you can see alot of the park from the car...the visitor center is ADA compliant of course.
To see Cathedral Gorge you have to hike a very short ways from the Miller Point entrance...maybe 200 feet or so. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

I'll be there too for SHOT. Can't believe I left Vegas in 2009....11 years living there was enough.
