Welllllll, Just as was suspected, it was a big flat nothing.

There was a "warning" from the hacker group anonymous for a national day of rage related to the you know who from Ferguson, MO with multiple cities named including Carson City,NV. Supposed to kick off at the Capitol at 4pm.

As usual, nothing happened (good news). in fact it was more quiet than usual.

Funny, they forgot to mention that the "Victim" was the same thug who strong-arm robbed a shop just a few minutes earlier.

When I was a kid a "Black" cop beat the crap out of me after I was cuffed, no crime involved on my part, just one of those semi-complicated to explain things that can result when parents divorce.
Witnesses aplenty, action against the cop, Zero.

If a "black" cop had killed a young white guy we would never of heard about it.

I was living in Vegas working at a major chain hotel (non-gaming) when they had the "Day Without An Immigrant" on May 1st, 2006.  Apparently, some expected that not a single hotel room or restaurant dish was going to get cleaned that day.

Amazingly, everyone still showed up for work and it was just like any other day.  It may have helped that I provided a little context to my staff and explained that the date was no coincidence that it fell on a communist holiday (May Day) and that the people pushing the idea did not care one bit about the actual workers or their families.

Of course the news tried to hype it up and if I recall, the union hotels/casinos in town had to deal with it a little more than we did but it was still a big flop.  Most entry level workers with families don't have time for these shenanigans - they are focused on paying bills and putting food on the table.  The same goes for this mess going on now.  

Day of Rage?  Not if I am going to miss a day of work.

I heard not a blessed soul turned out for the 'Day of Rage'.  

On the other hand, I remember a cold winter day where 2000+ RKBA people turned about in the snow in front of the NV state Assembly building against the 'background check' bill.

Patriots still outnumber the Thug/Entitlement class in No. Nevada.
If those trying to stir $*** up had a clue they might have called for their riots, er, "Protest" in LV.
But I expect that most the Thug/Entitlement types there would have more survival sense than those few who might turn out.
Pretty sure LVPD and shop owners would not mess around, and the "Oppressed" know it.
Of course I'm also pretty sure a body count and escalation of violence is exactly what a certain segment of true racist and socialist are looking for.
Waiting for the FBI, DHS, etc. to make arrest for incitement to violence and civil disorder, doubt it will happen.
