What does everyone use for their furniture.  I have started acquiring foliage for my first rifle and I'm trying to decide on possibly FDE for my next.

What goes better with the WI brush?  What does everyone use...

If I have to say it, pics are more than welcome!!!

I've went multi-color in the past. Came back to plain ol black.

I look at the color thing like it is camoflage.  It helps to break up the outline of a rifle...

FDE, love it but I love black too, my first AR and AKs were all black as is my soon to be acquired M1A. This is my current AR

FDE is much more popular, I have some, but don't think it best matches Wisconsin...

So which "fits better in WI?

I guess I should also ask about OD but I've heard it's too dark unless you live in the jungle.

od green and tan.  Since we all live different places, why not buy some krylon camo and do up your rifle.  If this color doesn't work in your AO, brakleen it off and try another color.  mix colors, experimenting is half teh fun.

Thats half the beauty; when a spot wears through, like on a grip, or where your cheek meets teh stock, you jsut hit it with another coat of paint.

So it's like a morphing camo.  It's always a changing pattern...nice.

Thats teh beauty of it.  Oh, it's november and now theres snow.  Whip[ out teh white, and throw some streaks on your camo.  Back to spring, add more green, tan in falll, etc.   Eventually, it'll end up looking like multicam.
