The local paper has a decent article on Mel Bernstein, the one and only Dragon Man:

If you've never been there, it is worth a visit.  The place is... unique.  Mel is a hoot.  Some people love the guy, some hate him.  I never had a problem with him, he was always good to me.  The article mentions the death of his wife Terry at the range five years ago.  It was a shock.
