Should I be worried?

Yep, 2 feet expected in the hills. Roads will suck, Less traffic when you get off of I-70. Loveland pass (US-6) is closed as of now.

We actually drove from tx last year(in my 4wd truck) and we took 9 and 40 into steamboat. There was some snow falling on the way out but not bad. I'm slightly worried about being in a 2wd van. My one request to who booked the rental was 4wd.

Look into the new snow chain law that passed. If if the inbound snow is as predicted you may get a $600 fine in the unfortunate event you get stuck. I don't know the particulars hence my suggestion to research it.

Looks like it...and possibly without chains or snow tires too.  What could go wrong?

Well, 7 hours since his last post. How far do you think he made it? Will we ever hear from him again.
