Gentlemen,
Apparently I'm going to be taking a trip through your neck of the woods in July. Mostly Seattle, with a brief foray to Vancouver, and down into Oregon. Most of the travel will be in Washington State, by ground. This not a .mil TDY, and I will not be on orders.
I generally always travel with weapons, and for this trip had a Glock 19 in mind.
My state does not have reciprocity with Washington for CCW.
How would you recommend I go about this? Apparently getting a permit for Washington requires that I apply in-person at an LE office. This is a non-starter... I live on the opposite side of the country, and can't make a special cross-county trip out-and-back just to get an application.
Suggestions?
Would you advise getting an Idaho permit? Apparently there is some sort of "enhanced" permit that Washington State honors (have no idea what that is, or what that means, so I dropped a post in the IHTF... will see what they say).
