As long as the Supreme Court stays 4-4, the immigration 'pause' is as-good-as-dead.
From Seattle, it goes to the 9th Circuit - which is rather likely to uphold the existing TRO on pure partisan (left-wing) grounds... The Supreme Court won't be able to un-do whatever the 9th does so long as it's split 50/50... So the question is, what happens first: This case gets to SCOTUS... Or Gorusch (sp?) gets confirmed... |

Trump is playing nice right now, he can clearly ignore it, or he could drop the quota to zero. Then they can issue any if the country in question has filled its quota. |
