I've got some furniture builds planned and I'm looking for a good source of quality exotic hardwoods consider quality then price.
Bloodwood is the first project, looking for 2"x12" x8" 2S2 or 2S4

There is also Architectural Woods in Tacoma I know it's going to be costly, my angus is peppered. |

Find the beer distributor that handles San Miguel from the Philippines.
These pallets will be made of mahogany. |

Gilmer wood company in Portland, Oregon is one of the largest importers of exotic woods in the country. When I lived down there, I would go into their shop and see tree trunks 4.5 feet wide, and nearly 20 feet long of things like ebony, mahogany, rosewood and similar stuff. They would also have 2 inch thick 4 foot wide, 8-10 foot long table tops, they have a web site. Lots of knife and handgun grip makers buy exotics from them.

I was in Port Townsend last week and stopped into Edensaw. I didn't buy anything, just looked around they had some really nice product, just not exactly what I was looking for. I'll have a look at the other places too, thanks for all the tips!

I ended up going to Crosscut Hardwoods last week and bought 48 bf of Jatoba. Great store with an impressive assortment of beautiful wood and the staff was very helpful too.
