If these need changed please let me know, and feel free to add others. I would like to know who the other statewide candidates need to be voted for.
1433 No 1464 No 1491 Hell NO 732 No 735 Hell NO Advisory Vote 14 No 15 Maintained, if you want a green car, than why should I subsidize your green car? Elected Office National President - Trump Senator - Chris Vance, but that's not going to happen, Murray is to entrenched Representative District 4 - Dan Newhouse District 5 - Cathy McMorris Rodgers State Governor - Bill Bryant Lt. Govenor - Marty McClendon Secretary of State - Kim Wyman State Treasurer - Michael Waite State Auditor - Mark Miloscia ? Attorney General - Joshua Turnbull, Ferguson has got to go! Commissioner of Public Lands - Steve McLaughlin Superintendent of Public Schools - David Spring Insurance Commissioner - Richard Schrock State Senator District 12 - Jon Wyss State Representative District 7 Position 1 - Shelly Short (unopposed) Postition 2 - ?? Washington State Supreme Court Justice Postition 1 - ?? Postition 5 - Greg Zempel Postition 6 - ?? I have left out the local county judge races as those from those counties should know, whose good, and who needs to go. Disclaimer; I'm from the east side, central Washington, obviously some of these won't matter to others, and I'm not sure on other districts. |

735 is a hell no for me. The left hates citizen united and this is an effort to turn the tide on that front. Corps being able to make campaign donations helps offset liberal groups like unions.
14 is about taxes. I vote against taxes every single time. I don't care if they bill says "a 1 cent tax increase or we start randomly killing innocent children". I'm still voting against the tax. We are already overtaxed by at least 50% and I'll never support another increase for any reason. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

The NRA fills in a few blanks
https://www.nrapvf.org/grades/washington/ |

For state supreme court, these are Tim Eyman's selections:
Dave Larson -- https://www.larsonforjustice.org/ is challenging incumbent Charles Wiggins (whose top donors are the unions, especially the WEA) David DeWolf -- https://www.dewolfforjustice.org/ is challenging incumbent Mary Yu (whose top donors are the unions, especially the WEA) Greg Zempel -- https://www.zempelforjustice.org/ is challenging incumbent Barbara Madsen (whose top donors are the unions, especially the WEA) My take (not Tim): I have personally met Mr Zempel and heard him give a talk, and I am voting for him based on what he said. I haven't met the other two, but based on the job the incumbents have done, I have no qualms about voting the incumbents out. If our court was made up of people like Zempel we would not have a court dictating legislation, or coming up with its own meanings to the State and Federal constitution to suit an agenda. Edit: clarification |

These are Orin Wells' (a republican in King County) choices from July (before primary, so some may be invalid choices now):
US Senate Chris Vance - none of the others have any chance US Congressional District 1 Robert Sutherland (but I have no first hand knowledge here) US Congressional District 7 Craig Keller Nothing wrong with Scott Sutherland but we can only hope one of these two gets into the top 2 with three Democrats splitting the vote and raising serious money. So pick one and cross your fingers. US Congressional District 8 Dave Reichert I expect Dave to skate into re-election here. His major challenger dropped out last week. US Congressional District 9 Doug Basler Governor Bill Bryant Lt. Governor Marty McLendon (I know some of you prefer Phillip Yin who has been working hard) Secretary Of State Kim Wyman State Treasurer Michael Waite State Auditor Mark Miloscia Attorney General Joshua Trumbull (L) - there is no Republican running Commissioner of Public Lands Steve McLaughlin Superintendent of Public Instruction David Spring (while a Democrat he has been recommended to me by several and is strongly opposed to Common Core) Insurance Commissioner Richard Schrock Legislative District 1 State Senator - Mindie Wirth House Pos 1 - Neil Tannisch House Pos 2 - James Langston Legislative District 5 State Senator - Chad Magendanz House Pos 1 - Jay Rodne House Pos 2 - Paul Graves Legislative District 11 State Senator - Dennis Price (L) House Pos 1 - Erin Smith Aboudara House Pos 2 - None of the above Legislative District 30 House Pos 1 - Linda Kochmar House Pos 2 - Teri Hickel Legislative District 31 House Pos 1 - Drew Stokesbary House Pos 2 - Phil Fortunato Legislative District 32 House Pos 1 - Alvin Rutledge House Pos 2 - David Schirle Legislative District 33 House Pos 1 - John Potter House Pos 2 - Pamela Pollock Legislative District 34 House Pos 1 - Matthew Benson House Pos 2 - Andrew Pilloud Legislative District 36 State Senator - None of the above House Pos 1 - None of the above House Pos 2 - None of the above Legislative District 37 House Pos 1 - John Dickinson House Pos 2 - Tamra Smilanich Legislative District 39 State Senator - Kirk Pearson House Pos 1 - Dan Kristiansen House Pos 2 - John Koster Legislative District 41 State Senator - Steve Litzow House Pos 1 - John Pass House Pos 2 - Michael Appleby Legislative District 43 House Pos 1 - Zachary Zaerr (Good chance of making the top two with 6 Democrats fighting for the open seat) House Pos 2 - None of the above Legislative District 45 House Pos 1 - Ramiro Valderrama House Pos 2 - None of the above Legislative District 46 House Pos 1 - Stepanie Heart Viskovich (L) House Pos 2 - None of the above Legislative District 47 House Pos 1 - Mark Hargrove House Pos 2 - Barry Knowles (we REALLY NEED you to vote in this race!!!) I might just vote yes on 732 given all the butt-hurt created because they failed to consult 'people of color' when they wrote it.
http://www.seattletimes.com/seattle-news/politics/carbon-tax-initiative-divides-environmentalists/ Leaders of the Alliance for Jobs and Clean Energy have sought to discredit I-732 in recent weeks. They’ve circulated poll results that suggest it would be rejected by voters. And they’ve argued the initiative is insensitive to communities of color. Alliance members say they’re working on their own climate-initiative proposal for 2016, one that would divvy up tax dollars differently, include input from a more diverse crowd, and, most important, have a better chance to pass. Lots of court positions open:
Who I'm selecting is in bold, italics and underlined. Court Of Appeals Div 1, Dist 1 Michael Trickey is running unopposed. I don't generally vote for those running unopposed..... Superior Court No 14 Nicole Gaines Phelps - guess I'm voting her based on what Greenspan says below. Not sure Nicole is awesome, but I know Greenspan is a d-bag. David Greenspan - says he has zealously defended Occupy and BLM defendants. buh-bye!! Superior Court No 26 David Keenan - lists endorsements from the King County Democrats and King Country Labor Council. John H O'Rourke - incumbent since 2013. His statement appears to be more impartial than Keenan's. Superior Court No 31 Marc Stern - this seems like an uphill battle, but his statement is generally OK. And a judge named "Stern" seems to have a nice ring to it..... Helen Halpert - 16 year incumbent. Endorsed by Dow Constantine, Young Democrats and many Democratic legislative districts. Also endorsed by the Seattle Times and The Stranger. Sounds like a liberal judicial activist..... Superior Court No 44 Cathy Moore Eric Newman (already mentioned somewhere to vote for Eric Newman) Superior Court No 52 Anthony Gipe - Lots of Democrats are endorsing this guy. Such as Hasegawa, Habib, Berquist and Hudgins, KingCo Democrats, etc. Kristin Richardson - Says she has strong bi-partisan support, but doesn't specifically list anyone from either side of the aisle. 26 years as a prosecuting attorney. Not sure who to pick here...... Superior Court No 53 Mariane Spearman - Incumbent since 2008. Lots of references to endorsements by Democrats, no endorsements noted by Republicans. But wait until you read Cline's comment. Thomas Cline - This verbatim quote says it all: "There should be an early referral to mental health professionals when any act of violence is tied to mental illness. This will implement The Brady Act, protecting future victims and the mentally ill themselves." In other words, he's a gun-control supporter and will use the bench to deny more people their Constitutional rights. Voting Spearman to cock-block Cline. |

A few thoughts on the 19th legislative district
Brian Blake (D) has the endorsement of the NRA and has been one of the strongest supporters of 2nd amendment rights in Olympia. He also happens to be down to earth, well spoken, hard working, intelligent, and I say this as a Republican. I know the man, and he is a keeper. Jim Walsh (R) is new to the district. He is saying all the right things as far as I am concerned, cares about jobs, supports the 2nd amendment, he will get my vote, and then it is up to him if elected to deliver. Dean Takko (D) is well known and respected. Dean is also endorsed by the NRA and has been a strong supporter of the 2nd amendment in Olympia. Dean is a get the job done type of guy, I have run into him out in the woods hunting, he is the real deal. Again, I normally vote Republican, and his challenger Sue Pederson may do well if elected, but I will be voting for Takko, he has a proven record and should be retained in office. A previous post recommended Michael Waite for State Treasurer, he may do fine, but personally I will vote for Duane Davidson (R). I believe Davidson has better government experience and won't have as much of a learning curve in comparison to Waite, and has been endorsed by nearly all the County Treasurers in the 39 Counties of the State. I will vote for Davidson. |

Some assholes called "Mainstream voters of WA" sent me a flyer saying how bad Chad Magendanz was for voting against a universal background check bill. I will be sending them a letter back thanking them for informing me that Mr. Magendanz is willing to stand up for my rights and I will gladly be casting my vote for him!

I talked my First Princess into checking the TRUMP box.
JOB 1. She's disillusioned with everything else. Fine... WAC has a good list of candidates to vote for, as does the NRA. 1 or 2 Dems in the mix, only because the Republicans are unknown on the issue. I'll settle for my kid going TRUMP 2016 for her first Presidential ballot. #NeverClittary. NEVER EVER! |

Since the voting guides from the NRA and the Gun Rights Coalition have already been posted, Here is the GOP's info for Washington's Initiatives:
Republican Party recommendations vote for WA initiatives: |

Did anyone read anything about the republican party asking republican voters to register with them to help tracking votes and making more difficult for democrats to pull their usual frauds?
Is it a real thing? Are they really asking us to register with them? My wife heard on the radio yesterday. I do not want to be affiliated. For example in the primaries I put Bernie and "preferred democrats" just to keep hillary out. Did not work. Now I'll vote Trump and follow the other recommendations here. However, seeing how easy it is to change a vote (just draw a thin line over - really?) I want to make as difficult as possible for the usual frauds. |

I-1501?
Resolution 8210? Snohomish county charter prop 1? Prop 2? Prop 4? Prop 5? Prop 6? Prop 7? |

View Quote WA state doesn't register people's party affiliation, so the parties have to manually figure it out on their own. Presidential primaries DO force people to pick a party, and that information is public, so it is taken in to account who to send mailers to and who to call to ensure they vote, but it is not the only information used. They're aware some people will vote in the other party's primary to try to influence the election. Each party can have a Precinct Committee Officer (PCO) for your precinct (an elected non-paid position) and that person is in charge of talking to all the people in their precinct and then recording the political leaning of those individuals. But I've found hardly anyone knows PCOs exist, and it is a self feeding problem as then nobody signs up to become one, and nobody every makes the rounds in that neighborhood to identify voter preferences, or to help educate them. For example, King County is made up of ~2500 precincts. This coming term, only ~500 PCOs are on the books for the republican party. So each person ideally needs to cover 5 precincts. A typical precinct is like 100 households, it really depends on density. In theory "Get out the vote" is supposed to be party agnostic, but in practice each party will target those voters they believe will vote for their candidates. Democrats focus on women + Seattle + Everett + Tacoma, and Republicans focus on everywhere else. It is public information once someone has sent in their ballot, so if you send your ballot in you are less likely to continue to be bothered by either party, as they'll know it is a waste of money/time to mail/call/door knock you. I don't know that "registered with the republicans" will fight fraud. I guess if 50%+ of the state population did so it would mean something. I think the real problem is that so many people don't vote, there is ample room for ballot fraud by fraudulently submitting ballots for those people who did not vote. They did reform the system somewhat since the 2004 gubernatorial race debacle, they now count all the ballots in one location rather than distributed. So it is harder to "lose/find" ballots, but the mail in system is always going to be somewhat insecure when it comes to what happens to the ballots before they arrive to be counted. It sounds like you're more concerned about ballots being tampered with once they're submitted - that is less of a concern for me, as there are monitor volunteers from both parties over seeing the ballots and their processing once they arrive. |

O.P. has a question mark for State Auditor race, personally, I'm voting for Miloscia.
He is a former B-52 pilot who will, in my opinion, better represent conservative values than his opponent. |

I think the info for Advisory Vote 15 is backward. The current state, I think, is that tax preferences are given for "green" vehicles. Voting "Maintain" keeps these tax breaks, while voting "Reject" makes them go away. The WA Progressive Voters guide says to vote "Maintain", which to me is an endorsement for REJECT. This group advises YES to all all of the Initiatives except the Carbon Tax one, which again says to me VOTE NO.
The way these things are written makes it hard to tell, though. Please tell me if I'm wrong. Rob |
