I must have done something wrong, I submitted one 6/20 and got it kicked back disapproved 6/29 because I typo'd the serial number. I couldn't figure out how to Resubmit that one so I sent in another 6/30 thinking it would be another 10 days before I heard back... still waiting.

I used exactly what's engraved for the model designation, but APPARENTLY that isn't what ATF wants... Some other members had PM'd me what they had to correct, to get approved so I just cancelled and resubmitted. My 6/9 submissions were approved over a month before. |

I called the NFA Branch yesterday to check the status of a Paper Form 4(Trust and check cashed June 19th for my Rifle Dynamics AK SBR) and was told that they are currently working on Form 4 submissions from the end of May and that It won't be very long. I always take this with a grain of salt, but it is good to know where they are with Form 4's.

I got back paperwork from Alril 26, 2016 and May 20, 2016. My Form 4 for May 20 was in on February 13. When I was there, I asked them to check regarding my April 26 stamp, to which they said there was nothing. A couple of weeks went by and I emailed my trusted contact there. It was approved Dec 22 and definitely was there when I picked up my May 20 item. Moral of the story? Make sure they check. |

Just got a call from the NFA, on my Form 1's I submitted, I forgot the original manufacturer (was in a hurry), anyway there sending me a correction notice and the forms to fix it, she told me if I can get it right back I should see my stamps no later than the end of April, but probably a couple weeks or so after they get them back! Mailed overnight on July 7th, received Friday July 8th, checks cleared July 11th, phone call on oops March 20th. I also have a Form 4 transfer, may call and see how it's going as it was sent in the same day.
ETA, the government is pretty damn efficient when it comes to collecting and cashing........ |
