Indeed. Me thinks 11-5is entirely possible now, if the cards have their playoff position sewed up by the last game of the season. They've lost out on a ring due to qb injuries before. With that history plus what we all saw happen to the Bungles QB, my guess is they'll sit Palmer vs the seahawks if it's a meaningless game...

Just read an article saying that it's been confirmed, Lynch will not be playing in the Vikings game. Everyone else will probably be playing though. With the weather, it would have been nice to have him in the backfield.

The stadium is in the 55455 area code...and accuweather says -2 degrees at kickoff right now. Wind doesn't look to bad in that zip code, but supposedly the stadium is known for having pretty nasty wind so with wind chill it might get really cold. We'll see. I don't see it as being much of a factor except for the greater potential for mishandling the ball. None of these players these days can complain about shit, really. They have helmet heaters, hand warmers, cutting edge clothes tech, heated benches, those giant coats, big heater/fan rigs etc. They should be just fine. If it was like the ice bowl where there was none of that stuff...THAT would suck to play in. I expect the hawks to roll, just like they did the last time they played the viks. The Viks best player, Petersen, is a warm weather guy that is on record saying that he hates playing in the cold. Not exactly promising home field advantage for Vikings fan.

The real tests for Seattle comes in the next 2 rounds...

They held the leagues leading rusher to 2 yards per carry. We didn't let the opposing team score a touchdown either. They played in the 3rd coldest game in NFL history and came away with a win. I'll take it.

I'm a Raider fan, always have been. When I was a kid, Marcus Allen was my first favorite player. Not that this has any bearing on anything. If the Raiders had played / "won" like that, I'd think the same thing.
