I came across this on the AG's website while looking for something else. I've often wondered why TX honors ours, but we don't honor theirs. I thought it was interesting anyways.

Yeah it's the same for Florida. I wrote a letter to our senator and got the same canned response.

I was a Washington resident, now Virginia.  Glad I looked here because the last time I checked (several years), pretty sure Washington recognized Virginia.  This sucks big time since I'm visiting here now.  Note to self:  Concealed means concealed...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Listing of states of which Virginia will grant recognition to valid permit holders:

Delaware
Minnesota
Washington
Wisconsin

Although Virginia will grant recognition, these states may not authorize Virginia permit holders to possess a firearm in their state. You will need to contact each state to determine if they will recognize your Virginia permit.

Yep, seen that page, I'd change it if I could, but that's the way it is.

Yup, messed up indeed.  Not old enough to buy a beer, or old enough to buy a pistol, but old enough to die for your country.  As my old squad leader use to always say, "That's about as wrong as two boys fucking."

I get around all those "NO"s by having both Utah and Florida non-resident permits as well as my WA CPL. I am good to go in something like 39 states.
