I am going to be in the area and was looking for some dining options. Preferably some non chain restaurants. Thanks I'm advance for the replies.

Hops Fogelsville Hotel - get the Fogie fries!
Buckeye Tavern
Alburtis Tavern
Gio Italian Grill
White Orchid Thai

Plenty of places to eat...Not a lot of "great" places around here.

Wife and I have three go-to restaurants in the area:

187 Rue Principale (Emmaus)
House & Barn (Emmaus)
Bolete (Bethlehem)

Bolete is excellent and will easily rival some of the best restaurants in Manhattan.  187 and H&B are slightly less so, but nevertheless still extremely good, and far beyond average.  Pro-tip: 187 is French, and as such follows the practice of paying their employees better and not leaving it to you to add a tip on the bill.  We were there last night for the Bastille Day special.  Excellent.
