I have a friend that is medically retired from the Navy.
He has MS and is unable to get his leg over the edge of a bath tub.
Not looking for charity just some honest contractors.

Today:
More medical issues have slowed the process.
My friend has FINALLY found the right guy at the VA.
The guy has found a VA matching grant so he is ready to go.

Looking for a contractor near Tunkhannock that will GC the entire job and supply all the materials.
He will need a walk in shower with grab rails, ADA toilet and sink.
Not looking for a bargain basement job.

Not for nothing, but when I had my hip replaced, we had the tub removed and a dual head walk in shower with grab rails installed by Bath Fitter. They did an excellent job. Have also had work done by Home Depot and Lowe's authorized contractors. My personal experience is that finding a competent and motivated contractor in NEPA can be a crap shoot. The Big Box stores have a vested interest in selling their merchandise and having it installed correctly. If you lack local contacts, why not give them a call?

I live near Tunkhannock, it is Wyoming County to the person who asked. There are not a ton of larger general contractors in this area, however my brother just built a nearly $2 million dollar home just outside of Tunkhannock.  I'll ask him who he recommends as he dealt with many contractors on that project.  Send me an IM if you are still looking for a GC around Tunkhannock.
