Are there metal detectors at the Liberty Bell ?  I may be visiting Philly with the family in Oct-Nov and don't want security hassles.  Where else should we go?  Only have 1 day to go sightseeing.

No metal detectors at the Bell.  Knives are prohibited in the city so do have one clipped to you pocket.  They do random pocket checks at the Liberty bell.
