In the preliminary stages of planning for a new project.  I'm going to need to have whooped Remington 1100 bead blasted and parkerized.  Does anyone know of a local refinisher/smith who parkerizes (hopefully inexpensively)?  If this phantom also threads barrels for chokes that'd be even better.  Any suggestions?  Thanks!

Give Jeff Bloovman at Clayton's Hunting and Fishing in Horsham a call.
Tell him Rich Bishop sent you.

I have used Donley 's in Quakertown for parkerizing.  Turned out good, I would use them again..

There is a guy in MA that does choke threading...his turn around time is amazing.  I believe I paid $60 plus shipping, but I shipped it to him on Friday and it arrived back to me on Tuesday.

I've never done park, but I've done plenty of refinishing.  You could DIY with Cerakote or KG Gunkote...well depending on how long your shotgun barrel is...I did my 590A1 on my oven.

Michael Hane is in Montgomery Co...people like him, but I didn't get a good vibe from him when I spoke to him, so I never used his services.

There is also another guy on PAFOA I believe his ID is CDI and he's in the area as well and many like his gun smith work.

I'm CDI. I'm on here too.
I no longer parkerize of hot blue- But I deal a lot with Brian at Eastern Firearms Refinishing.
He has a web site loaded with photos of his work.
