I read that in the newspaper. Sounds like he was targeted buy the thieves.

More than likely it was a cheap security locker and NOT a safe. You would have to do a lot of grinding if you wanted into a safe. Through the thick steel, fire brick etc. They would have to have had planned it if it was a real safe.

There was a case some years ago around here, people were away, house in the country, crooks broke in and took the whole damn safe. Problem was when they opened it there was a bunch of Civil War muskets, originals, inside instead of whatever they were looking for. Pricks dumped the guns in a creek somewhere, corroded the hell out of some good stuff.
