Does anyone else have these birds in their AO? Are they becoming pests?

Only place I've seen them are in Mesa at a Mc Donalds on power road.

We usually have a couple of dozen in our yard in west Chandler. My wife feeds them.
Their chirp always sounds to me like sneakers on a wood basketball court, very high pitched and sharp.

I first saw them on the West side of our neighborhood. Scottsdale. They have made the saguaros look like condos with all of the holes in them.

They have now migrated into our yard lately.

They are noisy.

I-17/ 101 junction AO, we have about a half dozen that frequent the wife's bird feeder.  I believe there was a thread a while ago describing how the ended up here.

They are all over the south and east valley. Several years ago, several birds escaped captivity and have been breeding ever since. Their population seems to be growing.

Have them here in Scottsdale. Don't think they present a nuisance except that they take residence in cactus that other species might want to occupy.

Lots of them around Thunderbird and Scottsdale Road.  I like them.

This will give you a good history of the Lovebird invasion.  Unlike illegals...at least these little guys are cute.
