I may have some .22LR to add to the box.
A friend dropped off some cheap military fender steel to use as a target. I'll bring this with me to the shoot for all of you that want to shoot bimetal, AP, steel core, or SS109/M855 at. Fair warning, even a 69 SMK will go through this like a hot knife through butter, but at least you all will have something to shoot at  too.

Its cool that we have a relatively centrally located HTF shoot location. In Oregon, no one wanted to drive across the state to the western corner to go shoot with a bunch of internet hooligans. One guy did though...

Im in and I have an extra bedroom in PV and a couch if anyone needs a place to stay.

While we're talking potential ammo trades. I have a few still sealed 1000 round cases of PMC XTac 62 grain green tip M855 5.56. I'm looking to trade one of them for 1000 rounds of PMC Bronze 55 grain 223. Figure someone may be eager to jump on that.

There is going to be a rally race in Prescott on September 30 and October 1 which is friday and saturday. One of the sections is perkinsville. Looking at the map it starts very close to the shooting location, someone should make sure we can still get there after they set up the barricades.

The roads will start being controlled by around 7 or 7:30 am on Saturday. Delays over up to 2 hours are possible on and off through the day, but traffic will be permitted between stages, when there is sufficient time. |

I get it though. It sounds like there's no way to get us all to that Safeway around 10 if they're gonna have roads temporarily closed and huge traffic delays due to that race. |

It looks like we will need to deal with intermittent road closures on East Perkinsville rd on Saturday.
For those who can't meet up with GSL @ 6:30 at the Chino Valley Safeway you can do the following. Take 89 into Chino Valley. At the intersection of 89 and Perkinsville rd (this is a round about intersection) go east (right) onto Perkinsville rd. Go exactly 10.2 miles and look to your left, you should see us a few hundred yards away. There is limited cell coverage at the location but you can call me for help. My number is = (4644550610 x 2) do the math. The roads will start being controlled by around 7 or 7:30 am on Saturday. Delays over up to 2 hours are possible on and off through the day, but traffic will be permitted between stages, when there is sufficient time. |
