I would be surprised if it were anything but a banner year for quail.  During the little time I've spent out and about, the calls and sightings I have observed are exponentially greater then the previous few years when I was actually looking.  I've also seen coveys in areas where I have never seen quail in the previous 3 years.  I'm waiting until it cools down also, but am excited for a good quail year.

Should be better I was think than last yr as 7M3 said. I have seen a lot coveys in new areas. Sadly covey sizes are still smaller than in previous years, but its on the climb! Hopefully I can get me some quail here soon

Not sure if I'm gonna end up going or not but agree with this where I've been south of Tucson.

I've heard more than I've seen. Rosemont junction mostly. In the thick around the missile silo on old sonoita hwy. Some up in the land between I-10 and saurhita.
