Another report of punks who have nothing better to do setting up spikes on manhole covers in Tucson.

I thought the same thing year's ago when I heard that people were putting acid on the envelops at bank ATM windows. All at once I thought asshole and good plan for a terrorist.

I told some cops they may want to look at some tire shops in the vicinity. It isn't unheard of that a glass shop would go shoot out some windows with a sling shot to drum up business.

Kids here used to have what they called the karma bunny. It was a cheap stuffed animal bunny that they would put in the center of the highway. It would be sitting on a piece of plywood that had a bunch of nails poking up through it. The board and the nails were painted dark gray or black to match the asphalt. So if the person swerved to try to hit the bunny, they'd blow their tire(s) out.
