Wife's boring 09 Camry needs new Struts replaced and alignment, recommend me a good and honest mechanic?
Hopefully they would allow me to bring in my own parts too.

I now go to Meineke on Park Rd. Google map Flint Rd at Park Rd. Other shops became extremely high priced and made me use their parts with an added material cost.

Tire Discounters on East Broad in front of the Lowe's just off Wagganor. Guy named Dereck is the manager, and Andy is the main service tech, both very good, very honest guys. The other manager is Doug, I don't know him very well but he's always been great as well.

Yes it's sharkey. I've had one of my Corvettes and a couple trucks in there recently. They do a very good job, I highly recommend. Edit to add, I wrench on my own stuff a lot. I'm real picky about who I let work on my stuff also. If it's something stumping me, don't have time, or and oil change I'll take it to them. |

I also have had good luck with Rob at Gearheadz Automotive on Brice Road and Rob at Tuffy on Main Street in Whitehall. I may have to check out this ARFCOMMer shop though... |

I've been taking my cars to Fishinger and Mountview autorepair since I first moved to Columbus. The owner was actually a good friend of mines father in law and he gave me a job when I moved here from Detroit to go to school. I dont work there anymore but thats where I still to this day go for any work.
Its in upper arlington on the corner of ta da... Fishinger and Mountview :) |
