There isn't a "banned" list so much as a list of handguns approved for sale. There are a lot of fine firearms on that list. That there is a list is an infringement but all that's required to get on the list is to submit samples for test.

If you arent set on the TRP, try the PX9109LP from springfield. They can be had from certain vendors for $699 (I have two, just got last one last week). Springfield Loaded 1911, night sights, parkerized model. They are a great value.
I have several Mil Spec's and paid more than this loaded for the stainless mil spec's... |
