It's a federal go-to-jail pound-me-in-the-butt crime to have a short barreled rifle without an NFA tax stamp - that's $200. It's likely wise illegal to have a vertical foregrip on a pistol.
California has outlawed the bump stock and trigger spinning things. Assuming you're a
you're limited to 10 round magazines anyways. Learn to shoot your rifle accurately, we may need you on our side one day.
Lasers are nice on home defense pistols and sharks. I would recommend against them outdoors with rifles - you can't see the beam in the daylight. I do have IR beams on two of my rifles but have the matching night vision and IR flashlights.
Go over to CalGuns.net and find the assualt rifle flow chart. Go over to Turners or better Centerfire Firearms in Riverside and they'll sell you whatever you want that's legal to own. It's hunting season so there aren't any AR's in the current ads.
Stick with something that looks like these - they're more accurate and better at killing things and are California legal to boot.
