Saw this listing on Gun Broker for Mag Tactical Lowers 65.00 shipped http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=438276032 so I hit up the poster about pickups, turns out it's http://www.cal-arms.com/ and I ended up driving down there instead.

Turns out he has hundreds in stock and said it's ok to mention the pricing online, thought my CA peeps in general might appreciate this.

for more info on the lowers, visit

His store his rules , still cheaper than most around here.

The average price for a lower is running $125 so not bad.

I agree.

Cost for storage of a receiver for 10 days?  Really?  Cost for administering the DROS?

This is a guy who does not want to be in the business.  These are facts of life, not costs to be delineated and passed to the customer, as such.  One might expect he has a sliding scale of storage costs for long guns, hand guns, receivers.  Does he add a charge for accessories which reflects the in-stock storage time from his receipt until your purchase?

His store, his rules.  But,... weird.

Regardless, it is still a good deal. Hard to beat a $49.99 lower...

Good seeing prices in CA coming back down to reality, my local LGS had spikes lowers for $89 my last time there.

bottom line is that it's almost 40 cheaper than the aero precision lowers from Rifle Gear out the door and IMO the magnesium alloy and integrated trigger guard is more desirable.

they can always be had from impact guns for 120 plus shipping, import tax and dros http://www.impactguns.com/mag-tactical-lightweight-gen-4-ar15-stripped-lower-receiver-black-mgg4blk.aspx

Has anybody completed one of these?  "Extended Pins for extra strength included."

I had a Rossi M92 drosed though them last year. They were ok, didn't rap me too much.
