Had the little woman once tell me to get her out of there right now. She wanted to see the dock that day. Why do you need to see boat numbers? Serious question. Not a thief so I don't know. |

20 some years ago the marine patrol pulls up to the little river bar for fuel . Officer walks up and down the line of boats tied up...He says " who owns this 17 whaler ?"
That would be me I said...He says the number on this side are good but the other side are spaced to far apart , fix it or next time I will write you up. A year later his boat was dead in the water in the middle of the river and flagged me over for a jump , I pulled the incorrect side up to him and fired him up , fucker never said thanks. numbers still the same last 40 years on a 1976 boat |
