Wife and I are going to be selling our 5.5 acres south of Chipley, very close to the Bay and Jackson County lines, and am curious what land is going for around there?  Talked to a realtor and they wouldn't give us any idea on price unless we listed it with them first...if prices are way down then I'd hold on to it a little longer and not waste the realtors time (or ours) by listing it.

Property is wooded with a spring-fed creek that flows through it, backed up to a large piece of land that used to be owned by a paper company, power/phone, etc...

Access to the property is paved roads out of Chipley but then turn to dirt...although I haven't been down there in 6 or 7 years and some more of the roads could be paved now.  Power is along the road.  

Wife and I bought this property on our honeymoon in January of 1998 and planned to retire there when we retired but we just bought 25 acres up here with woods and 2 ponds and need to sell this, various acreages in Arizona and 81.5 acres in Idaho.  Wife said that as long as I keep a wood stove fired up in the winter time, at a cabin to be built someday in the future, she said she doesn't need to live in Florida during retirement.
