Looking into using ICI Homes for a custom build in Volusia County. Does the FL-hometown have any experience with them or opinions of them?

I can't speak intelligently on ICI, but Dreamfinders Homes offers a great value and they get the thing built in a timely manner. I'm not sure if they build in your area or if they will build outside of neighborhoods they are already developing, but it is worth looking into. I wish you luck with it and hope it goes well.

ICI is part of the group that built/is building Fish Hawk. That community is used as an example in the industry of how to build a community right.
I've been a Home Inspector for 10yrs and a construction PM for 5 and I wouldn't have an issue with using ICI based on that knowledge alone.
*IF* you think you need the peace of mind, however, consider hiring a private inspector to keep watch on your house as it is built.
