Decided to try a Central Florida meet in the Tampa area. Looking to gauge interest in those that have attended before in central Florida and those in the Tampa area.

Looking at a Saturday meet in August. My buddy is manager at Beef O'Bradys in Apollo Beach and can get me a room for us to meet in. If your interested I need input on 2 options.

First being date August 6 August 13 or August 20

Second being time, we have normally met about 6:30 or 7:00 but I was wanting to see interest between 5:00 or 7:00 PM

The reason I was looking at 5 is travel time back to the Orlando area after the fun is over. I know from my experience in coming over from the Tampa area, that it's a bit of a drive back home when I leave at 9:30 or 10:00 heading back to Tampa.

Please post if you are interested in the meet and a preference for Date and Time if you have any.

They are at the corner of Apollo Beach Blvd & U.S. Highway 41 in the Publix shopping center.

If you enter off of 41 they are on the left side of the shopping plaza in a separate building. If you turn at the light and enter in off Apollo Beach Blvd * Do not turn into Bank America their parking lot does not connect to the plaza. It is the entrance after Bank America.

I'll be out of state for work for the first two weeks of August, but can almost certainly do the 20th. Time isn't a major issue. Voted 20th, but don't worry about me if other dates are more popular.

Just a dinner get together and chat. We've done a few in the Orlando area and it's a bit of a drive for me, also there has been some interest with folks in the Tampa St.Pete area that didn't want to drive to Orlando. So decided to try to get one together in the Tampa area to see the interest and turn out.

Yeah, gotta play fair. Central Florida meetups tend to focus on the greater Orlando area; the left and right coasts, though still 'central' Florida, are usually left out. Time to work on that.

The room will handle 40. I'll say the cut off date is the 16th that will give him a couple of days if we have a large enough group that one server can't handle.

They have a boating joint two miles west on the bay called Circles that is

also good.
